Mordred simply smirked. “That guy you were with could be one of the ‘everyone’.” He smiled victoriously. Nope, he wasn’t going to let this go until Aurora admits to him the real deal. Well, he ought to know anyway, Mordred thinks that he is worthy of such news.
The boy’s smile grew wider when Aurora faced him with a furious scowl. “Now we’re talking.” He said mentally. And, boom. Kennedy. Fourth Year. Slytherin. Boyfriend. “I knew it!” he said in a triumphant voice and slammed his fist on the table. “Good to know he’s in our house. Which means, whether you’re going to introduce him to me or not—there’s a big chance I’ll bump into him tonight at the dormitory.” He said nodding. He was quite sure Aurora won’t tell him anymore on how they got together, blah, blah, blah. That stuff’s usually discussed between girls. He’ll just ask the Kennedy dude. Straight to the point and no squealing involved. Good.
Gazing back at the food. “I think I still have space. It’s like I’m eating air.” He stood and got himself a huge chunk of the apple pie. As he ate his food, he made an invisible shield inside his head to prevent Aurora from reading his thoughts. “I need to have a word with that guy. He better not make her cry or I’ll be more than willing to make my fist say hello to his face. Well, no scratch that. Hexing might be better.”
"Sebastian is my cat. I got him for Christmas." she explained.
"See, it's been that long since I've seen you." Sebastian wasn't even a kitten anymore, he was nearly a full grown cat. She glared at him, wanting to say that Kennedy wasnt just one of 'everyone' but that wouldn't get her anywhere.
"Calm down, Mordred." she uttered as he slammed his fist on the table. Then he mentioned meeting him,
"I'll introduce you to him if you like but you better Be. Nice." she said, putting extra emphasis on the last two words - knowing full well that Mordred would probably be surprised that Kennedy wasn't pureblood, or arrogant, or anything like Aurora for that matter.
Aurora shook her head in disbelief as Mordred helped himself to more food. She grabbed a handful of grapes. Aurora frowned,
"You're thinking something..." she said.
"What?"
