"Hey." Hateya kept staring at the book for a few seconds more, then gave up and turned her attention to Ellie, "This book is being stupid. It's not telling me what I need to know."

Because obviously, a certain professor was of an age that he should be included in an old book, right? She looked at the notes she'd already made; they weren't exactly plentiful.

"I wanted to go bother Professor Vindictus about this homework, but then he might think I'm bothering him." So she was roughing it.
