She crossed her arms on the table and dropped her chin onto them. Maybe if she stared the book down long enough, it'd start talking to her and just tell her what she needed to know. That'd be nice.
Ellie hadn't been excited about food anymore. 'Least not at Hogwarts. She remembered, just last term, she would go on and on about how amazing the food here was. But now, it was simply something to keep her alive and...healthy?
Her mom's cooking over the holidays was refreshing. So refreshing, she still remembered the taste though that was months ago. Home would be nice.
Anyway, she was still here in search of SOMETHING to stop her tummy from rumbling.
The fifth year walked the length of the table, choosing to sit next to little Hateya.
