"
Thank you so much...I'm a bit incoherent right now but I suppose excitement does that to a person sometimes." She beamed at the man and took a sip of her water..you know, to calm her nerves a bit.
"
Well I'll definitely work to the best of my abilities in my new field. I mean, as important as galleons are, it's the contribution to the society thats most meaningful." Come now Recard, maybe you should just go ahead and give speech of the year to this one too.

Armen was glad to see that Layla was as excited about her promotion as he hoped she would be. It was good to see hard workers in his office and the rest of the Ministry needed workers like her. Perhaps they would see her reward and then use that as an initiative to work harder and stop being so stubborn to the Cult's ideals and way of running the government.
"Well I am very happy that you agree to take on the new position, and I look forward to see your work. Now if there is anything else please don't hesitate to speak with me or my new assistant Ophelia." Recard said with another one of his winning smiles.

She checked her appearance and gently knocked on the door.
Knock, knock..
Knock, knock..
Knock, knock..
No one was answering her knocks. Was he not inside ? Where could he be then ? He should be there. He was the Head of their Department and he was not in his office, maybe strolling off somewhere, that was just plain unacceptable!
With her patience running low, Eliza placed her hands on her waist and decided to go inside,
"Your Highness?!" She called out upon slowly opening the door.
Armen had been inspecting his office closet for any signs of bugs or listening devices placed by those trolls in MLE as he did every morning when he heard a woman's voice coming from inside his office.
He hadn't given anyone permission to be in there. He quickly pulled out his wand and closed the closet door leaving just a crack and peered outside to see who it was. The thought crossed his mind that it may be Ophelia, coming back with their lunch and he was going to put his wand away when he saw that it was another woman, not his personal assistant.
It must have been an asassin! Ready to jump out into his office space and curse the woman into dust, Armen heard her utter the words 'Your Highness'. That was weird.
Stepping out into the open behind her Armen spoke up.
"Umm that's very flattering but how may I help you?" he didn't recognize her from the hiring process obviously.

She was hoping that Mr. Recard would be there, but the office was rather... empty. He hadn't said where he would be when she returned, so, Ophelia supposed that she should stay put, and he would show up soon.
Well, she hoped so.
Coming back to the office after testing a few more MLE employees, the Transportation Head saw that his office door was open as he rounded the corner and smelled the sweet aroma of his lunch awaiting him.
When he entered the room Armen saw Ophelia setting the food he had ordered her to go pick up.
"Ah good Ophelia, this looks excellent. Did you take my dry cleaning as well?" If so she was doing pretty good so far.
He took off his suit jacket and hung it up turning to look over his shoulder for a second as he began to take off his tie.
"Oh please do begin eating, don't wait for me." That was the nicest way he could think of for telling her to try the food first. He wasn't about to be poisoned.
"Now," he said sitting down infront of her pulling a dish of the salmon before himself.
"I have the next assignment for you."
