Okay. No. Big crowds. Lights wasn't all that great with big crowds. Her inner dog hated being pressed up against other people, so close there was barely enough breathing room, everyone screaming in her ears, mucking up her hearing. Dogs rely on their ears, and Lights' form hidden inside her was in pain from the shouting now. She gripped Ethan's hand, shaking her head like she had water in her ears to try and stop them buzzing. Only him and her desire to get Borr out of the Ministry prevented her from running away.

And then Lights caught sight of a man sitting on the edges of the crowd. Something about him unnerved her. Maybe it was the fact that he wasn't shouting along with the rest of them. Maybe it was the way he was staring at everyone, like he was looking for someone. Hmm.
