Adam Burn was not going to make her cry. He had already done that enough.

If it hadn't been important,then why had she screamed at him.If it wasn't important why was she still standing there-granted she might be paralyzed or something-but she was still standing there after their talk.

He wasn't sure what he could do or say.If he said anything it could be the wrong thing that would push her even over the edge of the cliff.Adam began to loosely lift his arm up an down unable to speak as his tongue had permantly glued itself to the top of his mouth.

How could he be calm enough to ask her how it wasn't important.

"You're angry at me-maybe even more than that-so what you have just said is obviously important to you.I've had a lot thrown at me because of me this year,I'm sure I can take that comment you just screamed at me."

Way to make it awkward Adam.

She would probably walk away an leave him there.

"Perhaps it's just best I...I give us both time?"
