RETREAT! RETREAT! MISSION ABORT! That's what Sammy was thinking when Amy entered the room and walked straight past her then started breathing like she was going to kill someone, possibly Sammy. So, without thinking, Sammy run like a mad woman retreated to one of the sofa, hiding her head in her book, she could think of nothing else. The kitchens were closed so she couldn't go there, her sister was never any help with these sort of things so she didn't want to run into her and Everett may be still wandering around realising how stupid he is, she didn't want to run into him either.

So the plan was: Sink into the furniture until Amy stops acting woman-in-black-crazy. Sounded like a brilliant plan to Sammy, apart from the fact she wouldn't be able to eat if she sunk into the furniture.
