Brrr.
Braeden shivered a little as he walked down the snow-covered pathways with his books in one hand and a nearly-empty cup of hot chocolate he'd taken from the kitchens in the other. He's also been carrying a bagel, but, earlier during his walk through the pathways, a raccoon jumped out of nowhere and took the warm bread from his hand.

When on earth did THOSE hairy rats get on school grounds?! Brae didn't know, but he sure wasn't about to let himself be attacked by another again. It was lame and now he was left snack-less.

So the boy continued down his path cautiously, glancing toward the trees and bushes every now and then in case another evil forest-dweller decided to steal something else.
