Mia sat in front of the fireplace in the common room with a few of her text books spread out around her and quite a lot of scrunched up parchment as well. She really hated doing homework, especially when she was having a severe mental block.

Throwing her quill onto the coffee table, Mia leant back in her chair and closed her eyes for a moment. She had to keep reminding herself that she only had a few months of school to go and she was then free. No more homework or study after this, ever!

She pulled out the rune necklace she had made and looked at it for a minute or so before lightly pressing her lips against the wood. Four years at Hogwarts and nothing felt weird to her anymore. And so just for good measure, she gave the rune another kiss before slipping it back under her shirt and picking up her quill once more.
