He wasn't sure though if this song was definitely something he could boast about. Jonathan was a Slytherin but he doesn't boast about stuffs as much.
Half way through the piece he realized that Kurumi is the first girl to ever listened to one of his compositions. Yeah, he plays the piano in front of everyone during parties or when visitors comes to their house, but he usually plays the famous pieces, never his compositions. Even his parents barely hears him play any of his own compositions.
After playing the piano, he looked at Kurumi "It's not that good. Needs a little bit of tweaking." he said as he randomly pressed some of the keys. This piece is recent so he's not really as confident to let someone hear it. Then Jonathan leaned down to kiss her, well, her eyes were still closed, right? It should be an advantage. Hahaha.
It wasn't till near the ending of his playing that she realized that Jonathan had said that he had composed this himself. Was there something with her and musicians? Maybe there was a small undiscovered part of her that really did like the piano but was too afraid to admit it because it meant admitting that she liked something that her mother had been forcing her into? After all, she had been fighting against her mother's expectations all her life.
But...none of that matter right now and she needed to remind herself that. What mattered was that Jonathan was sharing with her a piece of himself. Sharing something that he had composed himself was...really special and while she couldn't be selfish and assume that he had written it for her, it almost felt like that was the case. Like this was something he hadn't shared with anyone else.
A small smile crept across her face as she listened and she stayed that way even when he stopped as the melody lingered for several moments before...her senses exploded. Jonathan was kissing her again and she sat very still, unable to move her hands at all to reach for his or play with his hair. It wasn't that she was in shock or didn't want him to, it was a pleasant surprise, but more she didn't know what to do. It felt...right.
She pushed off the bench a bit to kiss him back.
