"Now you may be wondering why I called you in here today, and I want to insure you that it is by no fault of your's." Glad he got that out of the way he smiled. He didn't want her to feel as if she was in trouble. "I am impressed with your work. We've had very high success rates with your delivered portkeys boasted a rate of 92% of travellers arriving and using the Portkey on time." He smiled again, these were really good numbers in this feild to be honest.
"These high numbers and your hard work has had me thinking...how would you like a promotion?"
Layla took the glass of water and took a sip before resting it neatly on a coaster. Her eyes followed him as he proceeded to pour himself a drink. She hadn't eaten much so having firewhiskey on an empty stomach would equal tipsy Layla.
She nodded as he assured her that she was in no trouble. With that matter dealt with she relaxed a bit more in her chair. The pleasant smile then reminded her why she was still in the department and so supportive of the man in front of her. He cared for his employees, unlike the Bole guy.
The woman smiled as he relayed her works statistics back to her. How he said it made it sound very impressive indeed, even though she had spared very little time thinking about the quality of the work she was producing. She just tried her best to be productive and efficient.
The moment Armen said promotion Layla's eyes brightened. It was perhaps the first time she showed any kind of excitement at work. Business was business after all.
"
A promotion..wow..Mr.Recard, I would love to be promoted, though, I quite like working in the Portkeys division."
