Presley's eyes widended in horror. Of course, that's why she was asking. Because she wanted it confirmed by Presley's own words. That would be why she asked about the holidays, and seemed, through thier conversation, to have an eer-increasing knack for knowing exactly what the problem was. She was simply getting more direct with her questions, and Presley was sure her next question was going to be "what made ou run out of your manse sobbing on Christmas Eve?" Presley narrowed her eyes at the girl, and sat down on a nearby bench.
"You already know, don't you?" she asked accusingly.
"Do you read WitchWeekly faithfully, Erin?" That was horrible. If the whole school knew, Presley would switch. She couldn't deal witht that kind of constant negative attention. She got it enough at home, and she didn't need it here.
