Maybe it was like how people sometimes had superhuman rushes in times of danger. Expect, in Destiny's case, she got superhuman when in need of food.

Carter beamed at her reaction to his announcement. "Thanks." he said in a strangely shy tone. He was still getting used to the idea that that's where he'd be next term.

His smile grew even wider when she said she wanted tickets. "Yeah. Of course." he said happily. "You'd actually come then?" It was something that he'd been worried about. As far as he knew everyone was entering the ministry next term. Well, except him. And he'd hate to lose touch with everyone.

Carter ran directly into Destiny when she stopped suddenly. This is what happens when someone drags someone and then suddenly stops! He quickly played it off as a congratulatory hug though. "That's brilliant Sweets!" At least... he hoped it was. He didn't know much about whatever a firecrab was. It was just another reminder about how little he knew. And he was quickly running out of the chance to learn these kinds of things.

"Isn't it a bit weird to think about how we're not going to be here next year?" He was just glad that now he wasn't the only person that wasn't entering the ministry. He wasn't the only one that was just going to be out there alone.

What kind of Muggle was Carter? He knew nothing, NOTHING about his Muggle life. It took all Destiny had not to scoff in his face, which wasn't really that much when he mentioned going to the Hershey factory. Her mouth was practically watering as she remembered those Muggle chocolates. The kind with the peanut butter.. "I want to go." She wanted to go right then, but school and all, pfft.

And she decided not to say anything about the security officers. She knew about free samples, and how little they were. She was going to need to steal!

Carter also didn't know about house elves and their evil ways. Destiny had tried to tell Mia, but she would have none of it. Carter, though, he was more likely to listen. "House elves are evil, you know? You should always wipe your spoon off before you use it."

She heard those elves use their potato sacks to clean the silverware.

Hmm.. that wasn't the reaction Destiny was expecting from Carter. She had expected him to ramble on and on and on about how excited he was to be doing it. She, on the other hand, was super excited. It was like.. she knew someone famous! "Of course I'd go!" They were free tickets. Free tickets that he would give her. That meant alot of bragging done by her.

Shrugging off his HUG!!!, Destiny once again linked her arm with his and continued down the steps until they reached the Entrance Hall. She could already smell the food and if it weren't for the question Carter asked, she would have been in the Great Hall already. She really didn't want to think about that.. she wouldn't say it, especially to him, but she was scared to be on her own.

Luckily for her, she wouldn't have to mention it..

"Don't do that!" Carter was a Muggle, he should know why. Which was the reason she was pushing him forward, closer to the spell happy girl. "The snowman has come to life to sing to us all!"

Like that Muggle movie, obviously.

She then held her hand out to Daichi. She wanted one of those cookies.. since she wasn't going into the Great Hall anytime soon.
