Alyssa had wondered about that last statement in his note about the 'not killing your classmates' part. She suspected that the Professor had a reason for putting it there, and that it wasn't a side comment or a joke. So she had been thinking about the reason while they were waiting for him to return. "
He sure looks like he's bothered about something. I do hope someone didn't do something that was against the wizarding law." Alyssa thought to herself.
But now it was time to concentrate on the lesson.
Alyssa raised her hand, stood up and answered,"
Is it because throughout history there have been many deaths, some which may not have been intentional, and as history tends to repeat itself, you wanted to warn us that even if it's meant to be a joke or we are playing around, accidents do happen, and the end result may not be good. That whenever we cast a spell we need to realize what the outcome is going to be, before doing it?"
Then Alyssa remembered the time when a lot of students had died and how some students had almost killed others, during the period when Lord Voldemort had risen again. She was suddenly afraid that something like that was happening again. History repeating itself? "
Oh Merlin!!I hope not," she thought to herself.
Even before she had settled in her seat, the Professor was already asking another question.

Is the equipment you are referring to our knowledge, our wisdom (or lack thereof), and maybe the means to carry out the act like for example using our wand?"
