SPOILER!!: *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!*[QUOTE=hjhm;10704676
Jonathan has never let once see his drawing. He doesn't know why but he's kinda shy when it comes to showing off his drawing skills. That's why he usually hides when he draws. Make sure that he's the only one who can see himself sketching. "uhmmm... No" he laughed. "people get haunted when they peek inside" he teased her. Well, since no one ever really peeked inside, no one has really been actually haunted.
Was the hug too awkward? Kurumi seemed to be quite silent about it. He should have just shook her hand or something. Jonathan should really, watch what he's doing. Kurumi might find him.................... weird. "S-sorry" he stuttered. it's only fair to say it.
Jonathan's smile grew bigger. He has a weakness when it comes to compliments. He has to admit, he loves being complimented. Maybe because he grew up as the only child and the only nephew of the family. Lately, his family were a bit off, his uncles to be exact. Usually, they always visit him but ever since they got married, they barely visit Jonathan during the holidays. NOT FUN AT ALL.
"Thank you" he said as he fixed his bangs onto the sides. Problem with Jonathan's hair is that, it get long too fast. He just trimmed his bangs when he came back home and now it started to grow long again. "It's not that she didn't like it or something. It's just that, he likes to see me trying new things out. But the blonde was making me uncomfortable" a couple of times already last year. It was annoying.
Jonathan smiled as she shared about her holidays back in Japan. "It's nice that you go to Japan every once in awhile" Jonathan said. Jonathan had been there once, he barely remembered the places. He was 4 years old, probably at the time. Kurumi had brothers? Jonathan really envied people with siblings, especially brothers. Maybe that why he always liked hanging around with Daichi. Makes him more like he has a younger brother. "Well, your Christmas sounds fun even without your brothers" he smiled. "You guys have dogs." yeah, dogs were awesome.
So what did Jonathan do for the holidays?
"Two of my uncles came to visit me, so we played family quidditch and chess" the wizarding chess. Not exactly you call fun but Jonathan's father is not exactly synonymous to that word. "Mother taught me how to bake too" and he sucked at it. He doesn't even know the ingredients he's using. It was fun even though he baked a some sort of inedible pie.
So that's probably it. Quidditch, wizard's chess, baking and presents. That summarizes his holiday. One more thing though.
Jonathan unzipped his bag and took out a present for Kurumi. "I don't know if you like this color but it's nice for the cold weather. It's warm" he said handing her a purple scarf. Hope she'll like it.

"H-H-Haunted...you mean...possessed?" she squeaked while clinging onto Jonathan's arm. Which, really, made little sense considering that if that were true then it was Jonathan who had put the curse on his artwork. But then, she saw his smile and realized that he had been joking. "
Oh...well...I, um, hope that someday you show me. I am sure you are brilliant."
Kurumi's eyes widened. Why was he apologizing. She held on a little tighter to prevent him from moving away. Awkward. She probably seemed like the clingy little sister. She was younger than him, so chances were that that is all he thought of her. Ali too for that matter. "
You...um...don't need to be sorry about anything..."
She smiled up at him. "
Mother would be furious if I didn't return," she laughed. The summer she had spent abroad had seemed to change her opinion about Kurumi just a bit. Still have to wear the contacts, but nothing too horrible anymore. Kurumi still kept all talk of Hogwarts and magic to herself though. "
Well...we had Christmas cake." Always nice. Whipped cream and strawberries with a sushi dinner. Japan could be strange like that.
Her eyes brightened just a bit as Jonathan explained his Christmas. Surely if he were interested in someone else he would have spent the holidays with them, right? Cross off one thing from her checklist of concerns. "
You learned how to bake!? Oh, I wish the kitchens were open this term. We could bake together."
She took a small step back to allow him to reach into his bag and...offer her something. She...hadn't been expecting this and her cheeks grew a deep rosy color. "
You...got this for me?" she asked, her eyes full of surprise as she reached out to take it. Her hands ran over the purple yarn and her smile grew a mile wide. Not many boys gave her presents...Adam had hardly remembered any of the holidays whereas she had given him many things. NO, she needed to stop that. Stop comparing every boy to Adam. It was unfair.
She wrapped the scarf around her neck, adjusting it a bit to make sure that no snow would get under it and looked back at him. "
I love it...thank you..." And then...she was moving on her own. Running purely on reflexes. Standing up on her tippy toes, Kurumi kissed him gently on the cheek before sinking back down in the snow.
Had she really just done that?! QUICK! Distraction!
"
I-I-I-I actually have something for you too..." Now it was her turn to rummage through her bag.
