Default Whoo! Barely made it, huh?

Kannalynne blanched a little bit when it was announced they'd have to levitate their snowmen onto a stage... Levitate? This huge monster? Out of the snow? But-but-but...!

It took her a couple minutes of planning, but then she decided she'd have to do it in pieces. Starting with the giant head of the squid, the biggest part, Kana placed it on the stage. Now that that was finished, she had to levitate the pieces of tentacles around it. Instead of the snow being the water, one would have to imagine the floor of the stage ITSELF was the water. IMAGI-NATION. A wonderful thing, no?

Luckily, since she had coated her creation with a thin layer of ice, also giving it the appearance of being wet, her squid was un-harmed! Even the arrowhead-like-point that stuck up and out to the back was solid! Lastly, she levitated the patch of snow where she had signed her name in ice.

And WHAT A SQUID it was! The tentacles were custion-cupped and curvy, complete with a few rocks and bubbles. They even came in sections, appearing to disappear under the "water", and then re-emerge. The head was detailed with tiny bumps and ridges and nice, round eyes. It looked better in the snow, though... So, just in between the tentacles and head, Kannalynne filled in a very light layer of snow, re-drawing the ripples carefully.

Just adding the tiniest of detail, She aded a couple drops of ice about the squid, like drops of water. Even if she DIDN'T win, this was certainly something to be proud of. And she SO was.
