"Gobstones, aye?" Mr. Wilkes stroked his chin, smoothing down a few stray hairs. "Not my style." Boring. "But aren't you just the sweetest little thing for asking." With his forefinger and thumb he plopped a sugar cube into her mug then handed it over.
