Jocelyn heard the door behind her open before she saw it. She looked at the man that walked in, up and down then gave a nod of approval. Bow tie meant that the man at least cared somewhat for appearances and despite the fact that she believed beauty was what was on the inside, there were a lot of shallow people who didn't bother for "inner beauty". She clicked her pen closed and shook his hand. "Yes, Mister Doyle, I am aware," Jocelyn said, smiling pleasantly at the man. Might as well before she unloaded work on him. "I am Jocelyn," she added, pointing her pen at herself.
. . . Way to point out the obvious, right? At least he seemed enthusiastic. "We are going to do some cleaning up in this place, I want it to look neat, spacious and to know what we have in here," Jocelyn said, getting right back on track with work. She passed him the clipboard and the pen. "We're going to open these boxes, see what's in all of them and determine how many of each there are in each box," Jocelyn added as she left the room for a moment to grab another clipboard and pen. "Let's get to work now, shall we, Mister Doyle?" Jocelyn asked, smirking to herself. Yes. It was work on the very first day. They were not in elementary school where the first day was spent talking.
Plus, he had offered to help... and he kinda had to. He worked for her now. Heh.
