Baht-ley - The Sweetest - TEAM 947!

At first, once in the room, Alice just stood there in the doorway, eyes slowly widening. There were cubicles everywhere! So. Many. Cubicles. She reflected, with regret, that she probably should have asked the secretary how she was supposed to know which one of them was hers. Alice hoped she wouldn't have to make a random guess. Maybe if she was lucky there would be some sort of indication, like a plaque on the side. With intentions of somehow scouting out her cubicle, Alice took a few steps away from the doorway....

She stood there for a moment, silently letting them appreciate her awesomeness.

”Morning.” The woman simply stated, ”Some of you I am familiar with, others not so much.” She specifically looked at the new people. ”I am Ms. Ward, Junior Undersecretary to the Minister. “ Introductions were now over with, to business.

Medea now scanned the room, ”I hope that you have taken notice that the Minister has posted new tasks on the Task Board.” The woman pointed in the direction of said board and then looked to her notes. ”I’m here to assist in the completion of the list. Let’s start at the top.” She clucked her tongue and then looked at the room again; ”Is there any leaky, squeaky or otherwise in need of attention issues that you need the Maintenance Department to handle?”
...but then spotted someone who seemed to be in charge and quickly halted. She wasn't sure what it was about the woman that made her appear to have an air of authority, but, at least in Alice's head, it was clearly present. She didn't need to hear Medea introduce herself to know she must be one of the higher-ups.

Alice listened dutifully. She took notice of the task board once the Junior Undersecretary pointed it out, squinting a little in an effort to make out what the minister had written on it. When she found it wasn't close enough for her read, she frowned slightly, before turning her full attention back to the Medea. Alright... Okay!.... Errr, Do I know of any leaky, squeaky, or otherwise in need of attention issues? Alice hadn't the faintest idea how to answer her inquiry, since she had only just started at the ministry. Guhhh. Rather than stating the obvious, she stood there silently, biting her lower lip and wishing she could be a bit more helpful.
