Now turning to the fourth year, Fina smiled encouragingly. "Go on then. You'll probably want to use your wand too," Hadley hinted and then leaned in to whisper something else, "... oh and probably not a good to touch the box either."
Kurumi stood up and walked to the front of the room when Professor Hadley instructed her to do so. Slowly, she leaned over the box and examined it when the professor spoke again. Her wand? Kurumi removed it from its turquoise holster and immediately began thinking about what spell she could cast to open it...when Professor Hadley spoke once again in a low whisper.

Right...no touching the box. Got it...

Kurumi held her wand over the box, wondering just what all she was supposed to do when she remembered what the entire class was on: double number meanings. That had to have something to do with this, right? Kurumi thought a bit more, still holding her wand above the box. Professor Hadley had just placed special emphasis on two numbers: 2 and 8.

...human magic...success...movement...

Kurumi wasn't sure if it would work, or even if she was thinking along the right lines, but it was worth a shot, right?

In the air, Kurumi traced the number 2 first, representing herself as a human and human magic, followed by the number 8 for success and movement. Hopefully...this movement meant that the box would open...

Kurumi waited to see what would happen.
