The next number would be... 28?" he asked skimming down the list. "So to go with what you were saying we should combine the traits. How about this, 2 is harmony, unity, relationships, collaboration, duality, humans/human magic and 8 is authority, finances, business, success, material wealth, self-mastery, complex thought/reasoning, fluidity."
Hmm. "So maybe it could be like a number that influences your skill and success in handling relationships with others?" Rory had no idea where to start on combining these characteristics but as the boy spoke, he made a bit more sense. Multiple meanings for double-digit numbers, possibly each digit handling one part of your personality. That could work, right? Rory groaned in frustration and ran his fingers through his hair, about ready to rip them off. "Well, I guess we could go with that, then. It could make sense, actually, where one digit represents skill and the other represents your overall personality." Rory pointed at 28 on his list. "Like for twenty-eight? Two is all about harmony and relationships whereas eight is all about, I guess, being good with numbers and being able to think logically." He paused and took a moment to gather his thoughts. This was becoming more difficult for him. Agh! "Uh...you could have two translations, just as you said. One translation could be that a person who works well with other people is capable of thinking logically and would probably be better suited for doing something involves money and finances? Like...like a muggle busy-man?" It was "Busy-man", right? Something like that. Whatever. "You have to have good people skills so maybe working with people's money..." NO, NO, NO. That made no sense at all! Never mind. "Or you could be a logical thinker and be good at something that allows you to work with other people and promote harmonious things?" |
