Taking out a telescope from the cupboard he demonstrated the wand movement slowly, showing the swish and then tap on the telescope. "lens focalis!" he said firmly. If you've done it right what you see in your telescopes should be more clear and sharp."
Zhenya stared at her telescope for a moment before pulling out her wand.

lens focalis" she said, swishing her wand and tapping nothing in the air - just practising. She practised a few times before trying it on her telescope, and looked through it. Yes, she had found Mercury before! She felt very relieved that she had found something in the sky that was the right planet.
