Louisa was glad when the professor addressed them. She gave the Gryffindor prefect a look of impression - did that girl know where Venus and Jupiter were? Louisa did know them in a book! Not up in the sky. Focusing on the spell the professor now was elaborating Louisa was mouthing the incantation mutely.
Once they were done and was time to move on, she started swishing her wand and doing a tap move without saying the incantation. Then she started on the incantation without the wand movement, "
Lens focalis, lens focalis..lens focalis..lens focalis.."
Time to try it out. Louisa faced her telescope, "
Lens focalis."
Swish and
tap. Nothing happened, of course, she leaned in and looked through the telescope. The image was sure sharper than the last time she did it.
Now to look for this tiny grey brown planet.
