Having stayed quiet once she'd been told she wasn't entirely accurate regarding Arithmancy in general, Stella had occupied herself with taking notes on the numbers as they were discussed and then the characteristics of how to interpret multiple digit numbers on their own. She knew that generally, reduction was important, but apparently that wasn't the case with today's subject. The idea of combining various meanings seemed more interesting anyhow, and she added the list of numbers to her notes as they were instructed to break into partners and analyse them on their own.

Once that had been done, she looked up again. "Does anyone want to be my partner?," she asked, smiling a little to herself as she didn't detect as much of an accent this time. Maybe it would get easier to pretend she was honestly English after not too much longer, even if she didn't want to forget French. At least as a language, and she didn't want to forget Risa either.
