She could add up the four and the seven to get eleven. Then from there she could add one plus one together and get two. That would give her the answer of unity and such that went along with two.

Or she could just do four and seven separately and give both of her findings, "Ma'am? You can either interpret it as two because of the addition of four and seven and so on. Or you could just do four and seven separately and combine the findings.
