Ashley set aside his notes to look through the book for the proper chapter. As he read through, some of the other numbers were already being mentioned, so he decided to go with the first one on the list. Did zero count as a number between zero and nine? Or did the professor actually mean numbers one through eight?
He figured it wouldn't hurt to try, raising his hand. "I didn't know if you meant to include zero and nine... so I picked zero, which is Emptiness, change, decay, nothing."
