But then she differentiated the voice in her head and realized that the person who was directly over her was Gideon. HE was here? Ugh, how much worse could this get? He was going to think she was weak because she had gotten slapped like a girl.

She slowly fluttered her eyes open and said, "Hey there all... ow."
