He took a seat at an empty desk and turned the lamp on before carefully setting down a large, teetering pile of books filled with loose pieces of parchment; this seemed like one of those old muggle games when if you moved a block the wrong way it would topple to the ground and he really hoped that hadn't happened. That would have been quite the spectacle too, maybe you should stop being distracted and start on the school work. Slowly grabbing one of the books from the pile, he opened it and started reading; this was definitely going to be a long day. Between studying for the exams at the end of term, and the homework that was understandably starting to pile up as classes got underway, Stella was finding she didn't have much time to herself. Not to mention she hadn't really spoken to Matt after he'd gotten back, even though she'd said she would. Maybe it was the fact that most of the mysteries she'd spoken with him about earlier in term had been supplanted by actual classwork, even though there were still others that hadn't gotten answered. Either way, she hadn't really thought much about not having seen him yet. Keeping Ravenclaw in the lead was too distracting, and there was always the egg for Charms and all the other assignments.
Walking into the library with a few books and her school bag, as the common room had been just a bit too loud to concentrate in with what she was trying to work on right now, she headed straight for the reading area. At least that should be quiet, as it was part of the library. Libraries were always supposed to be quiet, as far as she knew. It seemed she was going to be able to accomplish two things at once, though, as she saw who was already in there. "You mean I'm not the only one buried in studying?," she asked quietly as she settled into a chair near Matt and his tower of books and took out her Charms notes. Maybe starting with that would be good, since it was one of her better subjects.
