Stephen was actually into the book his was reading, that he didn't notice someone behind him. But when they spoke to him, he jumped a bit. Putting his head up, he noticed Kat, grinning at him. "Hey Kat. Come to cram up some knowledge so we won't have miserable lives after Hogwarts with me?" he asked, with a laugh. If he didn't pass these NEWTs with exceeds expectation, he'd probably end up working in an ice cream shop or something. Not that t was bad or anything, it's just not what he wanted.

"So if you don't pass these, what's going to happen to you?" he asked, turning the page in his book.
