"Er, sure Carter..." Biting her lip, Marilyn cleaned the candies up with her wand, reaching for the Twix this time.

It was the History of Magic lesson...Her nerves were still shot!

Cassie looked up and smiled at Carter when he walked over. She saw no reason why he couldn't join them after all. In fact she moved over so he could sit between her and Marilyn.

It was then that she noticed Mar being less than composed. Whaaaaaaaaat was going on with her friend?

Cass gave her a gentle nudge. Yes get it together Marilyn.

"Yeah you can sit right here." She pat the empty beanie between her and Marilyn indicating where the boy should sit.
