Kurumi frowned a bit. It sounded like the first year hadn't had the best upbringing. "

My mother...wasn't really around either." For very different reasons. Sometimes Kurumi wondered why she didn't just get up and leave considering how unsupportive she was of her own children for embracing who they were. "

Adam gave Kurumi an empathetic little frown. "I've heard that those things can make you sick...although it's not really all that surprising. Regrowing bones doesn't sound like it's the easiest thing for your body to do..." In fact the human problem probably wasn't programed to rebuild bones which was probably why they had invented the potion in the first place. Adam raised his eyebrows slightly..."She volunteered you?" Adam asked, trying to imagine being forced by the woman to lose a bone. Ehh..."Well...it was a new experience I'm sure, and not many people get to say they've had their bone regenerated," Adam said with a small smile, trying to put an optimistic spin on the whole thing.
Adam looked down at JB, a small smile on his face when something finally dawned on him. "Oh! I completely forgot!" Adam jumped out of his chair, alarming JB who had been enjoying the attention from Kurumi. "I was supposed to go get this package with this nutrition bone I am supposed to give him that helps keep dogs healthy...I better go get that now before I forget again. I'll talk to you later Kurumi!" And with that Adam was heading out of the common room, JB bounding along beside him happily.

I've heard that it was picture them in a chicken suit," she mused as she tapped her finger against her bottom lip. Imagining people naked wouldn't really help her. It would make her more nervous in fact. She was flustered enough when she saw Josh with his shirt partly opened. Her cheeks were flushing already, so she best cut off her train of thought now before she turned the color of a tomato.

Yes, me and a few others. Another boy lost a jaw bone. It was all rather frightening, but the potions were all brewed properly, so no harm done." Besides the emotional scaring that is.
Kurumi was a bit startled when Adam jumped to his feet, but giggled when she heard why. "
O-Okay," she said with a smile and a little wave towards the puppy. Puppy health was very important and she would hate to see a sick dog walking around the common room. "
