After her makeover - Jez did NOT want a mirror, it wouldn't be healthy for anyone else if she screamed in horror at her reflection - she closed her eyes, and tapped her head with her wand. "Felintas!" She felt her once waist-length jet black hair shoot downwards. Without opening her eyes, Jez cast the next spell, "Ristaris!"
Jez opened her eyes, and saw her hair. It must have been several metres at least, and so heavy her neck was cramping. And it was the most violent shade of bright blue Jez had ever laid her eyes on. She was Bubblegum Rapunzel! Jez whooped in delight, grinning from ear to ear.
Now this was learning!
MJ managed a weak giggle upon seeing Jez transformed into Clown Bubblegumina.

Isabelle was hearing spells she shouldn't have been. And seeing hair changing colour when it shouldn't have been. Narrowing her eyes at the kids, mainly for the sheer cheek of them moving on before she had instructed them to, Issy walked to the front of the classroom and pointed her wand at her throat. She didn't get mad often, but now was one of those times.
"ENOUGH! There should be no changing of colour to your hair, and especially not your eyes! I instructed you to use the Felintas spell, which adjusts the length and style ONLY. Nothing else." Her voice resonated around the room. Why did these kids not listen? It was clearly written on the board. "If none of you wish to lose points I suggest you stick to the spell I have asked you to do, and not move on until I tell you to. The next person to move forward will receive a massive points loss. Is that clear?" Annnnnd breathe.
Oh. Right. That's why the spell hadn't worked. Trying not to look up, or vomit over Professor McKay's floor, MJ tried again.
"Felintas!" Short short SHORT hair! Quick, change it back! Change it back!
"Ristaris!" MJ's normal long hair shot from her scalp. Phew! The First Year's stomach turned over again. Oh sheesh, the hair was normal, but MJ still looked horribly green. Doing some deep breathing, MJ looked around for some inspiration for hair styles. Her eyes snapped shut.
"No, no, no! It's fine, it's fine, it's fine. Let's skip the inspiration shall we? Erm..." MJ said to herself whilst thinking frantically of hair ideas.
