She then grabbed some gold and began to paint his nose with it. It didn't exactly look like a beak, but it was the best she could manage for the time being. After all, this was a class to practice spells and not face paint.
Her hands found the blue and she began to apply that, taking extra time around his forehead and blending it in here and there to try create a nice shading effect. Now...for one last final touch. She applied a bit to his lips and then spent a good 5 minutes or so on his right cheek.
