Finally! Time for a class she really enjoyed!

Vashti entered the History of Magic classroom with a grin and, when she spotted the professor, she said quite cheerfully, "Hello, Professor!" Her eyes quickly read the note on the board before she scanned the room. Almost immediately she caught sight of Louisa and the empty seat beside her. She would sit there, yes? Yes. So she did.

"Hey Louisa," she said, greeting her friend with a smile before turning to the piece of parchment on her desk. Pulling her quill and bottle of ink from her bag, she scribbled her name, house, and year as the board note had asked.

Vashti set her quill down on the desk and turned to pull her notebook and textbook from her bag. When she turned to set them on top of the desk, she blinked in surprise when she found a name plate there instead of the parchment. Whoa!
