Kurumi giggled. "I couldn't ask you to do that," she laughed, tossing her long black hair over her left shoulder. "You would probably be in detention for the rest of your life and..." she blushed just a bit. "I wouldn't be able to squish a worm. They are so defenseless and innocent." No chance to run away. Kurumi remembered 'saving' worms when she was younger and went on walks in the rain with her brothers. The poor worms came out of the ground with all the rain and were threatened to be washed away by all the small streams being formed on the side of the hill. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND her cheeks turned a deep pink.
"PUPPY!" Was all that escaped Kurumi's lips as the little adorable thing when on a rampage through the common room, knocking Adam off his chair. Her first instinct was to check and see if the puppy was alright, but he was already off somewhere. Best to check on Adam now, right? Kurumi jumped to her feet and leaned over him with concern written all over her face. "Are you alright?" She extended her hand to offer to help him up.
Adam let out a little chuckle...it was true. Worms were probably one of the most defenseless creatures in the world!
"Alright...how about a poisonous spider instead?" Adam said with a little chuckle. He wasn't terrified of spiders, but he certainly didn't like them, and well, if the woman was as evil as she seemed perhaps a spider was more appropriate for her than a worm anyway. Adam couldn't help but imagine what it would actually be like.
"I'd probably be kicked out," Adam with a little sigh.
"There's strict rules about attacking teachers right?" Adam could have sworn he had read about that somewhere...or maybe it was more just a common sense thing...
Adam gave Kurumi a little smile, the gesture coming out kind of shy. He couldn't help it though...it seemed to be an instinctive reaction to the fact that Kurumi's cheeks had turned a rather deep shade of red.
"Don't mention it," Adam said with a little smile.
"What are friends for, right?"
JB was licking Adam's face with so much enthusiasm that it took a moment for him to regain the ability to speak. Once the dog had calmed down he walked off of Adam's chest, standing there and looking at the boy with his tag wagging. Adam coughed slightly, accepting Kurumi's hand so that he could stand up.
"Thanks," Adam said with a little chuckle.
"He just gets excited sometimes right after his naps." Adam said, reaching down and picking up the puppy. The dog gave him another lick before shifting his attention to Kurumi.
