Ohhh. That made more sense.
"Just because you're part French, it doesn't mean you know the language." Or she'd be fluent in....actually, no. Ellie was pretty much as British as it got. How boring.
"How basic are the basics?" Really, just how much French does he actually know? Like...if they went to France, would he be able to converse with the locals?
Hehehe. She narrowed her eyes back at him. She was doubting it, though, that she'd be taller than him. Ever again. Her robes stopped rising above her ankles a while ago. Actually, as far as she could tell, she hadn't grown at all in a while. Not that she ever paid much attention to that. It was only with Treyen, really, that she thought about her height.
Was he serious?
"What, the five words I know?" Literally. At least, at the moment, she could only think of five words she knew...maybe.
"You'll have to teach me, then. With your vast vocabulary." Or his basic vocabulary. Whatever.
"You broke her concentration," she repeated after the Professor, complete with a confirming nod. Hehe. Maybe they were just dancing a bit too close to Bentley for her to hear him, though.
Ellie eyed Bentley and nodded, agreeing with what Treyen was saying about her dancing. Either Bentley was a natural, or didn't care about messing up as much as Stryker seemed to.
Aaaand twirl. SEE, Bentley. Dancing was FUN. Regardless of how good you are at it.
