No, apparently not.

Yes, Treyen was still taller. "But for how long?" If only you could plan when you grew. Because, while she just said that, she had no idea if she'd get any taller. And even then, if it would be enough to pass him. "Being shorter than you is not all that bad, though." She supposed. She kind of liked it at times, even.

Hehe. "You are the monsieur." Therefore, she would let him lead. Unless roles were ever switched for some odd, abnormal reason. And lookit, she spoke more French to him. Heh.

Bentley...Ellie HAD to tear her eyes from the Prefect to see what he was talking about. Stryker did seem a lot more stiff than Bentley did. Ellie opened her mouth to answer but...

...But then Bentley was tripping over her partner.

Ellie kept herself from laughing too hard, but couldn't help giggling just a teeny tiny lot. "...I don't think so. Not after that."

And then Bentley was talking to him. And the Ravenclaw laughed more. "Gosh, Treyen!" she sarcastically reprimanded, nudging his arm a bit.

That was boring, though. She wouldn't come just for fun? As long as it wasn't conflicting with the feeding times of her precious, perilous plants?

I know the basics, but I'm not fluent at it," yet the basics, he could pronounce pretty well. Hey! He and Stryker could so practice, right? Maybe, maybe not. Treyen could still practice with his family if he wanted to...but he didn't, he'd rather listen to them speaking in English instead.

Fun times. Really.

Treyen narrowed his eyes at her, playfully of course, instead of raising his eyebrow. He didn't know for how long and he was certain she wasn't expecting an answer to that question. And he even shrugged after she spoke next, why? Because if she'll get to be taller than him, well, he wouldn't mind that, truth be told. Yet, so far so good. He wanted to keep the eye-level height, at least.

Haha. "Lovely," he said, while smiling as he looked at her, "You should speak French more often," and, no, he was NOT making fun of her, he actually liked her even more (if possible) just by hearing one single word in Chad's language.

The second she took her eyes off him, he regretted having said anything about Chad and Seren's dancing.

Treyen followed Ellie's gaze and...man, he'd jinxed it, hadn't he?

Whaaaat? He did absolutely nothing. The Hufflepuff Prefect pretended to be slightly hurt by Bentley's accusation but the tiny smirk was there. He wanted to tell her that she should've been focusing even more, and that it wasn't truly his fault...BUT...he didn't. She could take 3 points off him...again.

"What? I did nothing!" he said, eyes on Ellie. Oh, yes, he was forever hurt by being blamed on Bentley's loss of focus. No, he wasn't.

The boy cleared his throat and smiled this time, eyes on Bentley, "Simple. You look far more at ease than Mr. Stryker does. You're a natural." Smirk. That means, Mr. Stryker, you're not. Or he's too nervous to dance properly. But then his smile faded a little, "Not even for the fun of it?" the fun of dancing, and twirling Ellie around, which he totally did, by the way. He was just trying to make a point.

Seren frowned a little. "Your broke my concentration... of course that's your fault." How could it not be. She was doing just fine... up until she wasn't.
But she couldn't stay mad for long, it wasn't her thing. No she was grinning again, it was all in good fun after all and if Treyen seemed to think she was more at easer then Chad then she would take that as a compliment.
"Well thank you dear but I assure you I am not at ease ... not really. I'm rather terrible."

Would she come for fun? Well she supposed she would. Maybe, perhaps....
"I suppose I might be inclined to come for fun, though if I knew how to dance I probably wouldn't participate. I wouldn't want to intimidate anyone with my skills." She winked. Yep, she was just that nice. But really she supposed he was right. Why would she ever pass up the opportunity to dance - well or otherwise ? She just wouldn't. Seren enjoyed it far too much.
