Adam was mid bite into his sandwich when he heard someone call out his name rather excitedly. Turning his head to see who it was, Adam spotted Cove. Seeing as his teeth were midway through the sandwich he couldn't exactly stop, so he took a bite, giving Cove a grin as he chewed on his sandwich.

"Hey Cove," Adam said once he had finished chewing. "I'm doing pretty well, how are you doing?"

Adam took a swig of his drink before spotting Cove's violin case and book. So it looked like Hogwarts had a lot of musically inclined students: first Aurora and now Cove. "Have you been playing for a while?" Adam asked, inclining his head towards the case.
