Orchid nodded at Mr. Stryker before she turned to face Lauren again, making sure they were in the right position. "Okay, so I guess I'll start by going forward three steps, left one, backwards two, make two right turns, and then go forward again. You follow?" She asked hoping she did, she really only did it like this cause she wasn't used to leading dances like this and she didn't want to step
on her feet. So, after that little explination she started to lead them and with surprising grace and composure as well.

"Oh, wow, you're so cool," Lauren smiled warmly at Orchid. She meant it to. "If I ever come visit you you'll have to let me join in! And introduce me to this Brazilian guy," she joked with a wink. "Oh, of course! Anytime," Lauren offered "I know a few different types from all over the place, but we can start with something simple."

"Well, clearly we should both be fighting off menfolk with a stick," Lauren joked, her cheeks warming at Orchid's compliment. She was so not used to hearing nice things about her appearance, but that had changed substantially since she became friends with Orchid.

Lauren instantly stepped into dancing mode, focusing on the steps with practised ease, her hand resting gently on Orchid's arm. She live for this, movement, rhythm. It was one of the few contexts where she took things seriously. "I follow," she affirmed, with a brisk nod of her blonde haired head.

"You're doing well," Lauren complimented Orchid with a lopsided grin.
