There is no need to do anything fancy. Just...if he is to move his right leg forward, la mademoiselle's left leg to move back. Vice versa if he is to move his left leg forward. Same if you wish to move sideways. The key is to make sure you are in sync, so...talk to each other. Communicate where you wish to go. Now...go!"

He turned his attention back to Seren. "Shall we?"
Drat, her plan to blend in with her surroundings hadn’t worked. Of course, her abilities picked the times when she didn’t want them to act up to do just that. Sighing, Kurumi took a few steps forward towards Selina, until she realized that she was already dancing with Gideon. Was it even possible to dance with all three of them together? Kurumi wasn’t entirely sure, but all she wanted to do right now was go hide under a rock. She would even prefer to have a conversation with Professor Lafay to being here.

It’s…alright Selina, Gideon,” she said timidly. “I-I-I’ll just watch…learn through observation as it were…

What was so bad about the whole dancing ordeal? It was not like all three of them were going to dance together, they would take turns. Then again Selina should have expected this; Kurumi, although she had progressed much, was a very shy person in awkward situations. Perhaps it was best to just let her work it out on her own. They would talk later.

Then she turned her head back around and looked at Gideon, "Sorry about all of the momentary confusion. Um, I'll talk to her later."

His height contributed too? She suppressed a laugh and jested, "Yeah, I guess, but let's not think about it, alright? It just might make this whole dancing thing harder if we think about it..." However, she never got to finish her thought because Mr. Stryker started to demonstrate how they should dance together. Once he was done she looked up at Gideon and said, "Well, um, you ready?"

Gideon looked over to see if Kurumi was infact join them, frowning ever so slightly as she appologetically took her leave. He couldn't blame her though, she probably was just a little overwhelmes at least he guess that was the reason. Gideon himself knew he might have been the same in previous years where he prefered to stand back. "Its alright and understandable," he said waving off Selina's added appology for her friend.

"Right...good idea," Gideon said nodding in agreement dropping the subject of height. As the groundskeeper spoke once more leading them on, the boy straightened his stance a little. "As ready as I'll ever be," he commented looking back at her and taking a breath and registering what he needed to do first. His would be the first movement and everything went from there and the professor made it sound and look so easy when he doubted it was, at least the first time around.

"Ok...right leg forward...left leg back," he said quietly aloud as he stepped forward on his right leg, hoping she moved with him.
