Nikolas waited until Emma gave an answer and hopefully it will be a yes. Because if not, he would have to find another partner and everyone right now seemed to have one. Nikolas saw that she blush a bit and he smiled back in return. Finally, Emma answered "That's great" he replied. He wasn't going to make a fool of himself.

"At least you know something about dancing! I don't know anything" yeah, he was a professional dancer "But I'll try" and very hard "To not step on your feet" he promised. He would be only looking down while dancing just to make sure he was stepping on the floor and not her feet.

"Oh, so you too think you are going to step on my feet? Okay so we are even" he chuckled. Nikolas looked down at her hand and grabbed it gently. "Alright, let's go" he titled his head towards where everyone else were.

Nikolas listened that Mr. Stryker was given them directions on how to dance. Uhh this kinda confused him, so his left hand together with her right hand and then his right hand on her back and hers on his arm. Okay, okay...Got it. Nikolas turned to Emma and asked "Ready?". He wasn't at all. He was slightly nervous to be true and he didn't wanted to think if he would do it right or wrong, he simply would enjoy the moment. Nikolas grabbed Emma's right hand and then her left hand and set it on his arm. This was right way, right? Good.

He then placed his right hand on her back and said "I guess this is how it is supposed to go, right?" he chuckled. Nerves were still there.
