Selina felt suddenly very exposed as Gideon's hands rested on her shoulder blade and his other took her hand. Why? She was unsure. Maybe because she was terrified that she would make a fool out of herself, she was no dancer. After all she was only ever really coordinated in the sky. Every other place-- land or sea-- Selina was not the most "graceful" person in the world. So when Gideon held her like that she was reminded that if she screwed up it was on her, he seemed graceful enough.

Luckily, she was drawn away from the situation by the whole Kurumi incident. She was glad that she had the moment to collect herself and try to give herself a confidence boost although it wasn't working. Dance was not something that she was good at or felt comfortable doing, however, with Gideon leading it wasn't so bad.

So when he resumed their previous positions Selina relaxed a tad and reached her arm up slightly to place it on top of his arm that was resting on her shoulder blade like Mr. Stryker had said. She couldn't help but giggle at where Gideon had to place his hand to be eye level with her, "Sorry I'm so short. It isn't exactly helpful in this situation. It must feel so awkward, sorry." Darn height... why did she have to be fun-sized?
