It was only October and Ryden was already fed up with school. Not HOGWARTS, per say, because Aunt Lea and England weren't much better, but school. Studying, exams, preparing for OWLs and all sorts of fun things like that. PSHT. It was tiring and the blonde needed a break.
One lazy afternoon found her lounging in her four-poster bed, staring up at the ceiling and NOT thinking about the piles of homework she had waiting for her. Instead, she was coming up with creative, impossible ways to cheat on exams. Stop time, freeze teachers, somehow magic all the information into her head before. . . Things like that.
And there she was, quite at peace, when she was startled out of her thoughts by a small orange
kitten that bounded from the floor ONTO HER STOMACH.
"OUF!" Ryden let out and sat up, making a face at the kitten staring innocently back.
"TABS. For the last time, QUIT jumping on me, MERLIN," she insisted, exasperated. Stupid thing was a year and a half old and STILL was acting like a baby. Honestly.
But Ryden enjoyed Tabs' presence nonetheless.
