Too stunned to say anything ~~for once~~, Kita instead turned to the young girl who had leapt out of nowhere to scoop her cat away. She reached up a shaking hand and petted her hooting owl. No need to add to the drama right? ~~Kita could do that on her own.~~

She turned to the girl and let a small smile take over her face. "It's fine," she said, "As long as he doesn't attack me, i'll be happy."

... Was that last bit even needed?

"Er... nice to meet you kitty cat," she whispered, smiling down at the cat. ~~Maybe then it won't attack her...?~~

Phoenix smiled in relief that the elder girl wasn't angry with her 'I'm really am so sorry, Ebony as soft as anything, wouldn't hurt a fly, he tends to keep away from people he doesn't know, you don't have any food or anything in your pockets do you, he's a bit of a greedy guts.' she gently moved Ebony so that he was draped across the back of her neck, his favourite postion and he immedietly started to purr, rubbing his face against hers.
