Carter opened his mouth to ask when Rafe would have heard about that... but thought better of it. Rafe probably knew everything he did that summer. "Thanks mate." he said clapping his friend's shoulder. "You have no idea how nervous I was." With both getting captain and making a professional team.
He let out a relieved sigh. "That's great." he said. Why was Rafe upset by that news? He blinked twice. "What do you mean by that exactly?" Was Rafe seriously over Marilyn? Did that mean he didn't need to feel guilty every time they were together? The guy did propose just last year.
" Thanks, I would appreciate it" William told Carter. " Team unity is a good idea" Willaim said to Carter. " If we could keep the paint on our faces for the school, that would be hosue unity" William laughed.
