"Kavanagh, Eamonn." Oh great, he was being called. Eamonn was already nervous. The boat ride up here was fun but now was for the moment of truth. He was the first in his family, well out of his siblings at least. Catriona wouldn't be here for another year. Was this going to hurt? He stepped forward, biting his lip in anticipation and he sat down as the hat was placed on his head.

"Ahh, someone is clever, very clever. You like a little bit of mischief don't you?" Eamonn didn't think he was that mischevious. He liked to play pranks but he was inventive- "Well it seems you could be in Gryffindor with a mind like that, but there is something else within you. You are inventive and clever, I can sense that." Well of course he was clever! He always knew what he was going to do, or well he had a plan for it. He wasn't scared of executing it- that is unless his mother caught him. Then that was the end of everything.

"I think I know where you need to go." Eamonn closed his eyes for a moment and then a second later the hat had shouted:

"RAVENCLAW!"

Eamonn took off the hat and bolted towards the Ravenclaw table. Well that wasn't so hard after all.
