Brooklyn nodded as the other girl spoke, simply agreeing that her shoes were pretty cool. Because they were and the world should know that. Maybe she should just find her way back to the common room, get her sneakers, and wander until she eventually found the grounds? Then maybe she could stop worrying about getting the heels all dirty and stuff. "Not a problem, really." she shrugged.
"Well, nice to meet you Ja- errr.. Skids." She grinned at the other. The common room? "Yeah, i have. I just.. didn't really hangout there long, i suppose. Maybe that's why we haven't met before?" That sounded about right, didn't it? "Although, i haven't met all that many people from my house. Well.. two, other than you. And both i originally met in Hogsmeade." she shrugged again, remembering the young girl and Paulie of course.
Okay good, Brooklyn was going to call her Skids and that was what she wanted. Good, good.
"Maybe, maybe not. I'm not sure, but then again this is just the first couple days of school so we'll probably meet some more along the way. Probably in classes as well." Jade nodded, watching as a couple of first years walked on by. She wondered how it would be to come here to Hogwarts as a first year. Probably weird or something, seeming as she probably would be shorter and her intellectual skills would be worse. Eh, it might have been cool though.
"Hmm, so what year are you in?" She asked, wondering if the girl was in the same year. That would be pretty cool as well. Yup, pretty cool. It was bit strange to be talking to this girl, seeming as they almost seemed complete opposites but strangely the same. Weird.
