She looked up from her book and sure enough there were other people in the dorm. Was I that tired not to notice these girls?
She tried to locate who called her and finally saw the two girls looking at her. One a few beds down, "Hey Desiree," and the other right next to her, "Hey Zhenya," she said smiling at the both of them.
She eyed Desiree holding some candy as she called Lana over to try some. Lana was tempted and thought about it. As she was going to put her book down both girls asked about the book. She showed them the cover. "It's 'Saucy Tricks for Tricky Sorts'," she said embarrassed. "One of my brothers gave it to me. He said in case I get bored here," she laughed.
She was happy that at least a couple of her new friends were nearby in this dorm. She yawned and turned back to Desiree. "What are those by the way?" With magical candy you just couldn't be too sure.
Saucy Tricks for Tricky Sorts.. she tilted her head to one side
"I've never heard of that one." she said looking at the cover curiously
"But it sounds interesting maybe I'll read it some time" She said smiling slightly, she wasn't actually going to read it. Desiree wasn't a big fan of books.
"Oh well to be honest we're not really sure.." she laughed
"We've just been calling them mystery candy, they have different effects on everyone. They're perfectly safe." she added, well at least nothing had happened so far. She held one out in her hand for Lana.
There was another girl, and Desiree didn't know her, had she been here the whole time and Desiree hadn't introduced herself? She shook it off,

She broke out into giggles like the rest of them. It certainly had a giggly-ish kind of taste, eh? Sort of like she was tasting everything that was sugary and delicious all at once.
Maddy popped the candy into her mouth. "mmmmm!" It was the most delicious thing she had ever tasted. All of a sudden, her hands started glowing, then they got brighter and brighter and then her whole body was glowing! So bright it was almost blinding! "I'm trying another, that was so awesome".
Desiree saw Sarah giggling after trying one and smiled, it did that to almost everyone. All of the sudden there was a bright light.
Desiree shielded her eyes a little, what was happening...
Maddy was GLOWING! Merlin's beard, Desiree was
definitely having another one of those.
"That's amazing" she laughed reaching her hand in for another one, she pulled one out and something looked a little off.. oh well she popped it into her mouth.
It seemed alright but suddenly her mouth begin to tingle and did the candy feel
furry? she spit it out as quick as possible
"Bleh" wow that was gross,
"If you see a green one, don't eat it" she warned, letting out a little laugh.
