Was this girl a Hufflepuff? Those Hufflepuffs were supposed to be a friendly bunch and was where Gwenyth thought she would end up. "I shall try my best" she laughed softly.

Cassie nodded. She was glad that she had some exposure to the muggle world so she wasn't completely clueless about it's happenings but she imagined it had to be really rough on people on the extreme ends of the spectrum. One would be completely clueless on all things muggle and not know how to properly function if thrust into that environment and on the other end, a muggle-born with no previous knowledge of magic. She supposed that entering the magical world had to seem quite scary, what with all the strange things one was likely to encounter...like whomping willows for example."Yeah, and yes it can be strange if you're not used to it. But that is why you're here. Hogwarts will help you get used to it and grow magically. When you think about that...it's an exciting prosspect." She gave the girl an encouraging wink."Well it certainly doesn't mean they don't have their uses though. Nip loves hanging out in the trees out here. He likes it better than the owlery thats for sure."

Cassie smiled figuring that he had to be one of them, she was amazed he hadn't scared this little one off, but he seemed to be doing good for himself with making friends. Good for him and good for Gwen too. Hogwarts was so much easier with friends." Ah I figured it was him. Did you two get on okay?" He was behaving himself...wasn't he? She nodded and smiled. Yeah being different and new must be very hard, especially in a place like this." yeah, it's so much easier to make friends when you have someone to relate to."
