He clambered, almost climbed, up the stone steps that were much too big for the little first-year, and it took all of his strength to get from Marble staircase and up the first flight of stairs to the first floor corridor. He was almost empty, save for a few students who were all older than Will. However, he didn't mind that and began strolling down the drafty corridor. He figured it would be beneficial to get a good feel of the castle, or at least on the floors where he had lessons. He had heard older students mention that Defense Against the Dark Arts and a History of Magic classes were on this floor. He wondered if there were more. A tad bit overwhelmed with how large the castle was, Will stood in the middle of the corridor and wondered whether he should explore each of the doors that lined along the walls of the hall.
Walking through the doors into the first floor Elsie accidentally knocked into a Ravenclaw boy.
"I am so sorry! I wasn't looking properly! Please forgive me I was too anxious to try and explore the castle."
She had decided to come in here after finishing in the courtyard.
"I'm Elsie by the way! Are you a first year to?"
